The Style Council Long Hot Summers: The Story Of The Style Council 3LP
$65.000
The Style Council were an important English band formed by Paul Weller (of The Jam) and Mick Talbot. The band blended soul music with new wave and jazz on their six studio albums, released between 1983 and 1998. Their third album, Our Favourite Shop, shot up to #2 in the UK.
This 3LP set includes some of their biggest hits, such as: «Speak Like A Child», «You’re The Best Thing», «Ever Changing Moods» and «Shout To The Top».
Collecting both hits and tangents, this anthology of Paul Weller’s post-Jam project has a concise narrative punch lacking in 1998’s more thorough box set.
